KFisher Restaurantwas founded in June 21, 2003 by the Husband and Wife Tandem of Ruben S. Cu Jr. and Hazel K. Cu.
Ruben is the youngest son of the late Ruben Q. Cu Sr. and the Beauty & PR Icon Thelma S. Cu who manages Bulakena Spa Salon and currently the PR Manager ofKFisher.While Hazel is the daughter of the late Henry “ALAS” King Sr., a Granddaughter of the kindhearted, the late Fishing Patriarch Jaime King., well-known in Fishing at the Town of Mercedes, Province of Camarines Norte.
Ruben is a BS Electronics and Communications Engineering Graduate of De La Salle University in 1994. In 2004, he completed the Intel-AIM Leadership Development Program at the Asian Institute of Management. He is also an AwardedUnited States Inventor forWater Boatused in Semiconductor manufacturing process with US PATENT# 6,615,994 in 2002, very few Filipinos gets this world classs distinction.
In 1998 to 2005, he was a Frequent World Traveler as a Next Generation Equipment Development Engineer developing Automation Equipment for Microprocessor and Flash Memory High Volume Manufacturing. He traveled frequently in the United States, Asia, Europe. Cities and states of Colorado, Arizona, Folsom, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, Anaheim. In Asia, Malaysia, Singapore and about 10 times in Tokyo Japan. In Europe, Dublin Ireland. These are Short trips from 1week to 3months for business and chance to enjoy delicious Foods. These travels and experiences created the network of good friends and prolific Chefs with world-diverse culinary expertise.

The couple took leverage of the King Family advantage of having its own Fishing boats, HK Fish Brokerage for Fresh Seafoods and together with the network for Authentic Japanese Foods and International Cooks and Friends.
